The dynamic and anointed New Covenant Church is pastored by the charismatic and most capable Bishop Bernard Williams.
Bishop Williams is a native of the Tidewater Virginia area. He was born and reared in the resort city of Virginia Beach, VA. A product of that citys public schools, he holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth and Pace Universities respectively. He has done further graduate and post graduate work at McCormick Theological Seminary. He was awarded an honorary doctor of Humane Letters from Wilbur Waters School of Religion in Washington, DC.
In October of 1999, he was elevated to the office of Bishop by the United Christian Alliance headquartered in Greenville, North Carolina where the Honorable Bishop Paul A. Thomas serves as the Senior Bishop. He holds membership in several professional and ministerial organizations.
An author of several books, he is also a song stylist who has released two CD's that have been well received in the religious community.
He is the adopted father of four sons: Billy, Thomas, Dennis and Bobby; 1 daughter, Sandi; several grandchildren, and a loving church family.
