Surrender to God
II Corinthians 2:14 - All day we have with God demands. The Lord requires something from us and we resist. We are slow to obey, and hesitated before his will. We apologize, try to ignore and make us deaf. But all this is useless. God does not change what He wants from us! Therefore, surrender!
Some time ago we saw pictures on television of the U.S. Army yielding a group of rebels in Afghanistan. The rebels had to raise his hands and knees laying down their weapons. So should the church, kneeling with hands raised their weapons testifying before the Lord. Surrender is a military term. Yields only one who is at war.
Conqueror or Conquered?
Judges 18:7 - We are entering the second phase of our project of conquest in the second half, if we are conquerors can not be won by the lies of the world.
In the 18th chapter of Judges we find the tribe of Dan looking for a place in the land of promise. The leaders sent five men to look for a value they could take land for an inheritance. These scouts then present a report to leaders on the people of the land, the provision of land and energy needed to take it.
The observations that the spies did over the city of Lais and their inhabitants are found in verse 7. The five spies reported that this was a place ruled so badly and so poorly guarded, it would be easy prey for the invader.
The Power of Gospel
1 Corinthians 2:1-5 - When it comes to power of the gospel always the first thing that comes to mind are some cures, miracles, deliverance, prosperity ... But we realize that the power of the gospel that Paul is referring to is the power to transform man, change your eternal destiny, grant him eternal life.
We know from the Bible that this power operates through the Holy Spirit as God (John 16:8-11) He convicts people of sin, righteousness and judgment.
I will make of Jesus called Christ?
Matthew 27:17 to 22 - No man can go without a response before Jesus. When the human being meets him can not remain neutral, it is imperative to give an answer. Even if the mind has not been a question asked, the spirit of man knows that they must answer before the Lord.
The Bible says that he is the image of the invisible God, all things were created by him and for him. Colossians 1:15-17, Colossians 2:3-4 and 8-9, Romans 11:36
What we do now will have repercussions of Jesus for eternity, the Bible says that every man will appear before Christ to give account of himself. Rom 14.10-12
